MFour Profile: Syara Singh, Sales
Syara Singh builds relationships with prospective clients while helping them learn about our custom research solutions. Outside of work, she loves to take workout classes, try new restaurants, spend time with her boyfriend and puppy, and has recently enjoyed moving into her new home.
What do you like most about your job?
There’s a lot I love about my job, but it must be the ability to develop my skills from every level of the sales cycle. My team is extremely supportive and I’m so grateful that everyone is always willing to help. Whenever I’m curious to learn something new or need support I can easily reach out to anyone and that makes me feel happy knowing I’m surrounded by peers that want to see me grow.
What brought you to MFour?
A year ago, I felt lost in my career. I always knew I had a passion for sales and being in a client-facing role but couldn’t seem to figure out the right industry or team for me. Coming across MFour and going through the interview process instantly made me feel like I belonged here. From day one this team has pushed me and challenged me every step of the way, but I couldn’t be happier with the growth/success I’ve seen so far
What is a typical workday like for you?
My day always starts with checking my email and responding to questions/responses to my outreach done the day before. Then I check my calendar and to-do list to see what the day looks like ahead. From being on client calls with my Solutions Executives to internal trainings and meetings my time in between is spent utilizing different channels for reaching out to prospective clients and sharing how we can help them make better business decisions at MFour.
What’s something that has surprised you about working at MFour?
I was surprised by how integral of a role my position plays for our team. As an SDR, we’re the first point of contact for our clients. Seeing an initial demo led by an SE to then building a long-lasting relationship with that client gives me fulfillment and reassures me that my efforts can lead to great opportunities for our sales team and company.
What is your favorite MFour Studio feature?
Definitely the 5 syndicated surveys available on Consumer Explorer. Having access to 5 surveys that provide you with survey data + behavior data month over month is such a great deal. I think that feature alone will bring tons of value to our clients who are just stepping into the realm of layering survey data with behavior data points.
What qualities best reflect your team?
Persistence, charisma, resilience, and curiosity.
What advice do you have for others looking to start a career in sales?
Always be curious. There’ll never be a point where you know everything and that’s okay! Seek out resources and continue to develop yourself and it will lead to success in any role you take on.
